Today I had a trip on Travis and it was a blast! Between my two clients we boated over 25 fish. Pattern most of the day was bluff walls, there are a few other areas that are producing but the walls put most of the fish in the boat.
With that said some fish are starting to school, we got on some schooling fish early in the morning that were going off like crazy. They were eating tiny shad again, so it's time I break out the itty bitty baits to catch them.
The highlight of the trip was when my clients hooked the SAME bass at the SAME time! That's right, this one fish ate both of their worms. It was a blast!
This Sunday evening Austin is supposed to get the first cold front of fall, which I anticipate dropping the water temps and making the fishing get good! I have been waiting for this for a while.
