By booking a trip and agreeing to my terms of agreement, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following:
Cancellation Policy: I offer free cancellations if notified 7+ days prior to the trip. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to your trip's date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. To modify or cancel your trip please respond to your personalized confirmation email that you will receive within 24 hours after booking.
Client will be financially responsible for any lost or broken rods or reels due to client negligence.
Sometimes rods break when fighting fish or casting, this is understandable and clients are not liable for this. This term of agreement covers negligence or misuse of my tackle.
-This includes stepping on fishing rods, mishandling rod causing it to break, hitting rod against something causing it to break, kicking rod overboard, dropping rod/ reel in lake, sitting on rod etc. Client will be expected to reimburse Torwick's Guiding Service for the full retail cost of broken/ lost gear.
Client will be financially responsible for anything they break in/ on the boat. I.E. Stepping on seats causing them to tear, leaning on fish finder causing it to break, dropping a cigarette in boat causing carpet to melt, hitting fish finder screen causing it to crack, etc.
Mansfield Dam Park and Arkansas Bend Park are operated by the Travis County Parks Department. They charge $5 per person to enter the park. Please note they only accept cash or check. Torwick's Guiding Service is not associated with this fee in anyway. Walter E Long Memorial Park is operated by the Austin Parks Department and charges $5 via credit card only to enter. Torwick's Guiding Service is not associated with this fee in anyway.
Cancellation and Inclement Weather Policy:
A deposit of $200 is required to reserve your trip. I offer free cancellations if notified 7 days or more, prior to the date of your trip. Cancellations with 7 days or less notice will forfeit their deposit. (If you paid with a gift certificate $200 will be deducted from its value for cancellations less than 7 days notice.)
Cancellations due to inclement weather are dealt with on an individual basis. I reserve the right to wait up to 24 hours prior to your trip to decide whether the weather will be problematic, as weather in the Hill Country is notoriously unpredictable.
Lightning, extremely heavy rain, sustained winds over 20 mph, or ice/ snow may be cause for cancellation. Please note, I will not cancel trips for light scattered rain. Fishing is an outdoor sport, some weather from time to time is expected. I constantly monitor the weather and will contact you if you have a trip booked and weather is a concern. Safety is always my top priority.
Payment will be made at the conclusion of the trip. Cash is preferred, I also accept checks, Venmo, or Zelle. I accept credit cards with an additional 4% processing fee.
