Client caught his PB Striper!

Took a new client and his wife out on Lake Travis this past Sunday for a half day AM trip. It turned out to be a beautiful morning despite the rain the previous day. We made a little run up river to fish around some marinas I have been finding some good schools of bass in. My clients had very little fishing experience but quickly learned how to cast my Shimano Stradics. I had them throw 3.8" Keitech Easy Shiner swimbaits on small lead heads. Whenever the fish would pop up we would cast at them and had a lot of success with it.

At one point my client was blind casting in an area I told him to target... and bam! fish on! The drag started peeling and the fight was on. After battling the fish for about 10 minutes I netted it and ended up being about a 6 pound Striper.

If you are looking for a fishing guide for Lake Travis in Austin, Texas give me a call! I have been on several good schools both deep and on the surface depending on the time of day. I also have been on a little Striper bite that's been consistent in the evening. Give me a call or book through the website and let's get you on the fish!
